The Midnight Patrol
The Midnight Patrol were made up of the five friends and Potsworth. Each has a special ability that helps them foil the schemes of the Nightmare Prince in the Dream Zone.
Potsworth becomes probaly the most intelligent and adult of the group, Nick becomes SuperNick assisted by his stuffed Dinousar (Murphy), Rosie is Nick's big sister, Keiko is the second oldest of the group and rides a magical flying skateboard and finally there is Carter who is both Potsworth's owner in the real world and an aspiring artist. |
The Grand Dozer
The Grand Dozer is the King of the DreamZone. He spends nearly all of his time dozing on top of a huge pile of mattresses. This is not your normal slacking on the job though, if he was to fully waken the DreamZone would cease to exist!!
The day to day running of the DreamZone is therefore handled by the Chief of Police, who gives the Midnight Patrol their daily assignments. |
The Nightmare Prince
You feel sorry for the nightmare prince as he is always being hounded by his mother for failing to succeed in his dastardly schemes. We never actually see his mother, but she phones him up and we see the Pince's reaction.
Generaly the Prince's schemes boil down to two things, either i) Wake up the King or ii) spread nghtmares across the DreamZone. |
The Real Potsworth!
Potsworth is actually based on a real dog, that belonged to Martin and Vivien Powell (the owners of the Sleepy Kids plc) and the creators of the show. In real life Potsworth was a Springer-Spaniel and was rescued via Battersea Dogs home by the show's creators.
