Captain Caveman
Captain Caveman, the neanderthal hero of the cartoon. He wears a fashionable leopard skin cape, carries a club and likes to shout Captain Caaaaaaaaveman alot!
Captain Caveman speaks in strange caveman talk (e.g. bad english grammar!) and is several thousand years old, but manages to cope with modern life quite well. The most bizarre things about Captain Caveman are that a) he can fly, b) he likes to eat inanimate objects e.g. tables, chairs etc., he also has huge (presumably pockets??) buried somewhere in his hairy coat as he is able to produce pretty much anything he needs from the depths of his armpits! |
The Teen Angels
The Teen Angels are mystery solving ladies that rescue Cavey (as they like to call him) from the ice. They often use their feminine charms to get Cavey to help them and he basically does all the heavy lifting and dirty work on their behalf to solve the mysteries they find themselves involved in.
In short - Brenda is the brunette one, that is basically always scared of everything!
Dee Dee is the brains of the operation, she is the African-American teen angel above and actually does all the hard-work of putting the clues together and solving stuff!
Finally the one you will probably remember the most is Taffy the blonde one above. Not just because of her random name, but also because she used to go around shouting 'Zowweee!' alot and generally getting over-excited, she would normally be the one to con poor old Cavey into doing some hard-labour for the group! |

Okay, so there aren't lyrics as such, but there is a narrator (Gary Owens) that states the following back-story at the beginning of each episode:
Set free by the Teen Angels from his prehistoric block of glacier ice comes the world's first superhero.
